Worked from the neck down. This apron fits squatty dishsoap bottles. A loop fits around the ne

ck of the bottle and ties button in the back.
Finished size: 7" tall x 9" wide at ties
Materials:
Worsted weight dishcloth cotton yarn (about 15-20 yards)
Crochet hook size H
Row 1: Chain 23, slip st to first chain to join. (This form the neck loop).
Row 2: Sc in next 8 ch.
Rows 3-8: Turn, work 6 rows of sc on these 8 sts for the bib.
Row 9: Ch 17, in

8th ch from hook, slip st to join (button loop made). Then slip st across to last sc, ch 15. Work 3 dc in 2nd ch from hook as follows: Hold back on your hook the final loop from each dc, then pull a loop through all 4 loops on your hook to form a bobble. Slip st to the bottom of the 3 dc bobble to form a button.
Row 10: Slip st across to far side of bib, turn.
Row 11: Ch 3, dc in next 2 sts, (dc, ch2, dc) in next st, dc in next 3 sts.
Row 12: Turn, ch 3, dc across to center, in center space work (2 dc, ch2, 2 dc), dc across to end of row.
Rows 13-14: Repeat row 12 – two more times.
Row 15: Turn, ch 3, skip 1 st, in next st work (2 dc, ch2, 2 dc), skip 1 st, slip st in next st; skip 1 st, in next st work (2 dc, ch2, 2 dc), skip 2 sts, slip st in center space; skip 2 sts, in next st work (2 dc, ch2, 2 dc), skip 1 st, slip st in next st; and skip 1 st, in next st work (2 dc, ch2, 2 dc), skip 1 st, slip st into final st.
Cut yarn, fasten off. Weave in ends. Place on a dishsoap bottle.

dc = double crochet
st = stitch
ch = chain
